Happy Christmas one and all!
(Preview)
No, I'm not late, I'm Russian Orthodox and we celebrate Christmas on January 7 (which is Christmas Day by the Old Calander, which we still use). So Whitstable and Peacehaven are our Christmas/New Year fixtures - here's hoping that we don't see another 0-5 thrashing! So, Счастливого Рождества to al...

Saturday : Redhill - Hastings United
(Preview)
Redhill played only 2 league games in December and drew 4-4 against Eastbourne and lost 3-2 against Merstham. The number 18 of the League did not play against Leatherhead because of the waterlogged pitch. Hope we get 3 points out of this :

A football club that was too ambitious (Darlington)
(Preview)
Just seen this on the BBC site. The old Darlington FC built a 25,000 seater stadium in 2003, however the club went out of business eight years later. Nowadays the stadium is used by a rugby club with a home gate of just 800. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-25505385

After the great escape against Burgess Hill John Maggs team will have to take the 3 point again at the Pilot Field to stay in one of the top positions in the League table. It is still possible but I think that a Play Off place is more realistic. Last season Whitehawk won the league and only lost 4 Games all season, and when we won the league back in 2002 we only lost 5 Games. In fact over the last 14 years from leagues that we have been in the "Average" amount of game...

Saturday : Hastings United- Burgess Hill Town
(Preview)
I think this will be a '' pay back '' match against a side who just is in a flow of winning games. The derby yesterday against Worthing gave the home side a easy 4-1 victory. They won their last 4 games including a cup game against Lewes. And Hastings ? It will be a very tough game and hopefully the team will r...

If the weather and pitch conditions are Ok today we play against the number 21 of the table Chipstead. They lost their last 2 home games against Hythe 2-3 and Three Bridges 3-4. They have a remarkable goal difference of 40-55 ! So they scored more goals then we did but have the worst defense in the League s...
