Won 8, drew 6 and lost 25. Scored 42 and conceded 88 goals. From the last 8 matches they got only 1 p...

U21 vs Chatham
(Preview)
Saw a cracking game of football at the Pilot Field last night. A really entertaining 1-1 draw. Sam Crutwell scored with an assist from his goalkeeper brother Matt. Sam was a revelation playing centre midfield. Both teams played their part in an open game. Shame only32 people saw it.

Losing to bottom of the league
(Preview)
i know last season was totally different to this, but I think this particular March weekend is a bit devilish for us. Yesterday, we played bottom of the league and we all know what happened. One year ago today, we played Eastbourne Town, who were bottom of the league and lost 3-2. In the home game after th...

Easter Weekend Fixtures for relegation candidates.
(Preview)
Just looking at the Easter fixtures for potential relegation candidates as feel that this weekend could be a key part of the season with 2 games in such a short space of time. I notice that Ramsgate will be playing on Good Friday 3rd April giving them an extra day to recover before their Easter Monday 6th...

Back with us apparently and will be there tomorrow, not sure if hes the signing mentioned but certainly more than happy to have him back regardless. Some more baffling comments in the Observer today from NK. His comments below plus what I think he was meant to say. "We may not have shown it on many occasions this season, but we've still quality in the squad" We have not shown it at all this season and we have very little quality in the squad &...

3 Out of 5 ?
(Preview)
After Walton Casuals beat Chipstead 2-0 last night there is now a 7 point gap between us and them. It now looks more than likely that the Relegation Places will be filled by either us, Redhill, East Grinstead, Ramsgate and Horsham, and if we manage to beat Horsham on Saturday it will more than likely be 2...

Nigel Kane
(Preview)
Nigel Kane has taken a hell of a lot of criticism since he took over, most of it fully warranted. As stated before, he has made next to no new signings, appears to have no contacts, the players are clearly not playing for him, he makes strange substitutions, appears to have no Plan B, continually plays...

U-21s and Youth Team
(Preview)
Must admit I hadn't followed results too closely, but looking at stats for these two sides, they aren't a lot better than the first team. Why are we languishing near the bottom of both leagues? One of the teams had a 10-game losing streak, the other a 6 gamer. Are we in the wrong divisions? I agree that re...

3G Pitch
(Preview)
See Eastbourne Borough are going to install a 3G pitch, it must be an idea that Hastings should think about, as players could train on the pitch, facilities could be hired out all year round, initial outlay would obviously be costly, but income generation over the year would surely mean it pays for its...
