There is no doubt that when we have a new Chairman and ownership, we're going to need all the help and support of volunteers. As you probably gather, I believe we need a change to move forward. I don't often disagree with ChrisB, but I do on this occasion. I can only think that Chris was trying to encourage those volunteers who appear to be close to DW to in some way influence a decision that has to be made? I'm also a bit sad that the thread has been lost a bit.
This game showed that we lost too many players this season and the replacements are not good enough.
We need to bring in quality players - at least 2 strikers - who can score and one midfielder who can give the assists. Cost money but we have some and relegation will cost so much more.........
Sadly Bert, I don't think anybody is listening. I was kind of hoping that Razor would have now been put in charge but it appears we have Nigel and his signings until the end of the season.
By the way, I understand that the massive signing that NK mentioned in the Observer and the player that was going to make a real difference was in fact Bankole. Steady yes, going to make a huge difference, No! Cant wait for the excuses for Saturday, perhaps he will point out we had 11 missing this weekend, or blame the poor playing surface on the players inability to pass to their own, or perhaps he ran out of ink as he spent most of the match in that blasted note pad of his. The next edition of the daily Kane is ready to roll!
John, miracles some come of out nowhere............ Can't think of something that isn't gonna happen ( or i am being to cryptic ) Money rules the world and relegation cost us so much more.

Sorry Bert, but sometimes you have to give up..........

Those of you calling for a change of manager might like to consider Ringmer's plight. They are in a similar position in the County league to us in Ryman South. After a 1-0 defeat last Saturday they decided to sack the manager. Last night they lost 7-1 to basement side Selsey. It would appear that this is not the right time of the season for change.
Unless we know the circumstances, I don't see how the two are remotely comparable? Every situation is different, and our position, with our record over the last 16 games, at least requires some serious questions to be asked.
No comparison whatsoever. The manager went and all the players went with him and they played a youth team. If NK left and Razor took charge it would galvanise the squad and give them an immediate lift, no players would be leaving. If you want a better comparison look at Pardew and see what a former player can do to a struggling club at the back end of the season. We are on current form the worst team in the league by far and the performances match that form. You may be happy to keep him on board Downsman but many of us are certainly not. Not sure how a change now can be any worse than what we have witnessed over the past 2 months.
