After the draw against Sittingbourne we now play against Carshalton.jpg

Carshalton has played 36 games, won 12, drew 8 and lost 16. Scored 52 and conceded 54 goals.

They are currently on place 15th in the table and so to see free of relegation worries.

But after their great win against Folkestone ( http://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/match/8490#videos ) with 5-3 they

only got 1 point out of their last 4 games.

They play at: War Memorial Sports Ground, Colston Avenue, Carshalton, Surrey

And we ? After the possibility of winning or even losing the game against Sittingbourne but at the end got 1 point we are struggling to get 3 points out of a game. The home game we lost 1-2 ( their goal in the 89th minute) When we see the line-up then and that from last week of Hasting United only 4 players started in the game: Pelling,Rose,Ray and Ade Olorunda.

TyrellRichardsonBrown3.jpg Tyrell Richardson-Brown scored his first for us and the promising debut of Jack McLean with his runs finally got us some optimism!

Come on your U'ssssssssss

I think it was Carshalton that virtually sealed our relegation from the Premier when they defeated us at home. Hoping History doesn't repeat itself!

Kane want 3 wins from remaining 8 game so he should just say he hope the other team get lesss points than us as not confident we can do that hope i am wrong. looked at other games today and think big chance will be in bottom 3 tonight. as other said in other post 2 win since mistake to give him the job so can not see how we get 3 wins when we have somehard games i think we might be lucky to get 3 points in total. Kane come across as excited we got 1 point against sittingbourne but what i saw was we play well first half but sittingbourne miss 2 very easy chances 2nd half and think draw fair despite the highlights

What a total embarrassment. I didn't go today and thank goodness for that. Walton Casuals won and so did Ramsgate. We're now tied on 37 points with Ramsgate and East Grinstead with only goal difference keeping us out of the drop zone.

Total embarrassment. I was following the tweets and it looks like we didn't even test their keeper. No Ade, no Evan, no Kyle, no Cruttwell - all valuable players. Quite honestly can say I'm fuming and that I don't see us staying in this league at the end of the season. Totally unacceptable.

Believe me Liam that was a total embarrassment today. Not sure why Ade was not in the squad. Apparently Evan Archibald has left the club.

Taxi for Kane! Thank you for your efforts Nigel but as most of us already knew, you were the wrong appointment and should never have been given the job. Now please save yourself more embarrassment and kindly resign from the club and give us long suffering supporters some lingering hope of getting out of this mess As the whole club has now lost faith in you. Suggest DW gets Gary Wilson, Razor or Mr Bean in ASAP before the Horsham game as this is now becoming a joke.

Really bad today, got offered our money back by a senior member of the squad today which says it all.... ( none of us actually took him up on it )

Unless SOMETHING changes VERY soon I can see us going down soon. I am always as optimistic as I can be but this is the reality.

What a shambles today, everyone tries hard but not playing as a team, team spirit and cohesion is down to manager and coach to instill, this wasn't apparent today, Time for complete overhaul of management! Won't be wasting time and money going to any more away matches. Season ticket means I will see remaining home ties, Don't expect too much though, Anyone at Carshalton will have realised we are a desperate group of supporters. Give us a good win on Saturday to restore faith in the team and the club.

The highlights consist this week of their first two goals two ( the third didn't record for some reason, genuinely not sure why but barely matters!!!! )

I wasn't there today (having decided to give my support to my 'other' team who scraped a draw on their visit to the Amex in a stunningly low quality game) but, by all accounts, this was a good decision.
It doesn't matter which way you look at it now, the likelihood of the Us ending the season in one of the final two relegation places is looking increasingly likely.
Horsham's position and form makes their position seem pretty hopeless (despite the introduction of some proven players a few weeks ago) but we are only marginally better off.
All along I felt confident that we would be good enough to pull away from trouble.....today the reality is we need a drastic improvement just to hold our current position.
This I think is the lowest point I have seen the club in nearly 50 years of visiting the Pilot Field.
"Must win game" is an expression that gets used rather too often but surely next Saturday is just such a game.
I just can't believe what has happened this season.

Evan has left? Last week he was happy turning down offers from Horsham. What utter shambles. And I put him on the front cover of the programme last week!!
Just watched the lowlights that Dan posted, couldn't quite see who was meant to be marking their attacker for the first goal, but he turned through him like nobody's business. Something needs to change at this club asap to avoid the seemingly inevitable

After recent games it has gone beyond blaming players for our downfall. With full respect to them they try their best but are not up to it and it is almost cruel on them to make them try and play at this level. This then leaves our senior players in a very difficult position while the game is going on as there is not much they can change. This leads onto the management who like the majority of players are out of their depth. Very easy to blame them but again they should not have been put in this position. So we are back to our usual suspect, one Mr David Walters.

Until this individual is replaced there will NOT been any improvements to our much loved club. All involved in the the club need to wake up and realise this very serious problem although I think deep down they already know this.

If our football club was a boxing match the referee would have stopped it many rounds ago to save further punishment.

If our football club was a horse  it would have been put down long ago for cruelty reasons.

Please believe me it gives me no  pleasure to make posts like this and see the club in this state.

Elton John released a cd called Goodbye Yellow Brick Road and it included a song called 'Love lies bleeding' with a line below which I have adapted for Mr David Walters regarding our club.

'The club lies bleeding in your hands'

So where were Tim and Ade today ? OK...neither have had the greatest season but both started in a decent performance at Guernsey and Tim only missed last week through suspension in another good team effort.
Has something happened here ? Seems strange both are missing from the squad.
Surely we need experience and passion in the side from the likes of Tim and Ade and then a few quality additions. On paper, Today's team looked more like a bunch of strangers than at any time this season.

I think Tim would of been suspended today Mick, any suspension is normally two weeks after the event, as Liam has said Tim is away at the moment.

Two weeks ago the Observer reported we had signed central defender Matt Caley, what's happened to him? players on holiday, players going to weddings, once again being unable to fill the bench and Just about says it all about our club when players are leaving us to drop into county league. There is no respect for the manager and no hope unless he is gone. I don't care what people and other fans think about us if we sack another manager, he has to go and he has to go now so someone new has time to prepare for Saturday. The club is on it's last legs and close to no return.

This is such a sad story, how one man and his ego can kill a club, a club that isn't in debt. Walters is a complete useless waste of space and the sooner he goes back to Carlisle the better, cant he see he is killing the club, or doesn't he care. If he sells up now we can all join together let bygones be bygones and build a successful club that everyone in the town can be proud off, get the council onside and move on. Please Mr Walters show you are an honorable made and sell up.

I dare say that ChrisB's reaction will provoke the usual responses from the rose-tinted spectacle brigade. That said, whilst it is admirable to defend something you believe in, the overwhelming evidence is that our club is a total and utter shambles. Three teams, all at the wrong end of the table, a flagship first team that is simply not good enough, a manager and coaching team with no answers, players in and out at an alarming rate, a club unable to hold it's own in just about the worst standard of football ever seen at the PF, relegation looming, a ground that is falling to bits, and just about the worst of all, loyal supporters who have followed their team through thick and thin now saying they won't go away again. It's totally shameful. I simply do not understand how anybody can continue to support the chairman, given the weight of the evidence and the voice of the majority of supporters. Those who still support a frankly failing regime say "What else can he do?". Fair question - simple answer - step aside, and accept a reasonable offer from somebody who has a chance to rebuild the club. I fear that if this doesn't happen, we will be gone. Is that really what the chairman and his apparently dwindling support really want?
