Some more baffling comments in the Observer today from NK. His comments below plus what I think he was meant to say.

"We may not have shown it on many occasions this season, but we've still quality in the squad"

We have not shown it at all this season and we have very little quality in the squad

"We've still got a healthy budget at the club and we will continue to look to bring more fresh blood into the squad between now and the transfer deadline"

We have had the playing budget substantially cut and I will continue to bring in county league standard players

"We've been dragged into a relegation battle and we've only got ourselves to blame for that"

We were in a reasonably healthy position when I joined the club and we are now deep in the sh*t. This is my fault.

"We've got to make sure we take points off the teams below us when we play them"

Anything less than a win against Horsham and we are down.

or We must beat Horsham and Ramsgate and pick up points of those teams above us in the league

And commenting on the defeat to Carshalton "We were missing nine players but I don't want to use that as an excuse" Now I can think of Ade, Holden and Crutts....do we count long term absentee Logan? but can anyone name the other 5 stalwarts that we so badly missed on Saturday?

And finally he talks of signing a player he believes will make a real difference to the clubs fortunes and could feature against Horsham. Could he have a similar effect to new central defender Matt Caley from Bromley who was supposedly signed 3 weeks ago?

Big worry reading that Ade may not be playing either on Saturday due to injury. Desperately short up front now 'Archibald the great' has left us. Is Woodley still signed? he would love a game like this.

I do not like the way you fanny around, skirting around the edges, sitting on that fence,
Why don`t you come right out and say what you mean John ?
Absolutely spot on, and very entertaining as well, If I give you a tenner a week, would you do this every Saturday ?

great post john best of the seaon on here. have anoither take on 1 tho.

"We've still got a healthy budget at the club and we will continue to look to bring more fresh blood into the squad between now and the transfer deadline"

I've got all this money to play with and it is great pretending to be a proper football manager with real money, it reminds me of playing monopoly as a kid
