1. Tommy Widdrington offered to bring at Eastbourne Borough fringe team to play HU last Tuesday offering HU the opportunity to take players they fancied for rest of season to help the club out. HU turned down fixture because groundsman was not available to repair pitch on Wednesday.
2. As we know Evan Archibald was the subject of a 7 day approach by Horsham. The deal offered included a goal bonus which HU refused to match. Nigel Kane is now from his remuneration paying the player the goal bonus if and when required.
3. Allegedly the club is cutting back all over the place in terms of trying to limit outgoings. Strange thing to be doing when involved in a relegation scrap.
Sums the club up really. We are going nowhere under this leadership.
Chris may I suggest that you ask Simon or Nigel directly if either rumour is true?
I was however on standby to carry out any pitch repairs on Tuesday evening resulting from a match against Estbourne Borough which was then changed to a training match on Thursday of which a number of Eastbourne Borough players were present.
You're asking the wrong people that's why there's no denial Chris. I work in London all week so haven't a clue. Secondly, a youth friendly that didn't happen is hardly anything to get steamed up about is it??
I don't understand all this " supporters have a right to know" nonsense over a friendly that didn't happen . Please tell me that in your crusade against the club that you have more in the locker than that !
