A very poor game ,thought we may have won by three or four, but Eastbourne matched us . Hopefully better against Horsham in the next round….whenever that is.

Canvey Island
(Preview)
No complaints….shaded first half and if Joe had converted his chance just before half time may have been a different game. Canvey stepped up a gear in the second half and eventually deserved their win. Blatant pulling fo Freddie’s shirt which I thought should have been a penalty on another day. Thou...

Big day tomorrow for the Pilot Field. Ground inspection for the old girl. I hear credit is due to Pat McCrossan who works tirelessly on the safety and compliance of the ground. Fingers crossed for all those who've put in the graft.

Club statement

I am pleased to see the statement posted by Billy on the club webpage yesterday. At last a few long standing issues are going to be addressed some great and sensible advice to fans regarding bad language. Generally a move in the right direction. Long may it continue. Well done Billy.

I regret to inform you that Doug Smith died yesterday 2nd March. Doug came from Rye , would have been 95 this month, and had been a supporter since the inception of the club back in 1948 . Hastings United Kit

I don't know what other people think but I really liked the kit that Hastings wore away to Kingstonian. I have only seen it a couple of times this season, as it is also on the front cover of the matchday programme. Is it our 3rd choice kit as white and grey seems to be the 2nd choice. I wish that it was our 1st ch...

Good to have so many Hastings based players in the match day squad. Freddie Legg did well again as did Ollie Black, Kane Penn Penn and our youngsters on the bench. Has to be the way forward for Hastings-if only our local council would help to improve facilities for our youth and academy teams.

Our away game at Hornchurch seems a long time ago now. First half was a bit of a nightmare for Hastings with Finn's unlucky early sending off and the follow up penalty. Extraordinary moment of mystic commentary from Adam Carder this afternoon. Enjoyable Boxing Day match against Lewes. After we went 1 - up, Lewes got on top for most of the rest of the first half, looking particularly threatening down the right.
