Sounded like a game that we could well have won, although we were probably just grateful for a point after that late drama. Seven unbeaten in the league now though, and very much still in the crowded play-off hunt, ahead of another tough contest next week.
The psychology between Louis and the guy who took the penalty was wonderful. Don’t usually believe in all that stuff but Louis stood right in front of the ball and took what seemed like ages to get back on his line. At the same time their player seemed to tie his boots over and over again, before taking and missing the penalty. Really entertaining stuff.well done to our lads , thought Alex and Jake were immense, and it says something when their keeper was man of the match.
Entertaining match with both sides coming close at times, but with Hastings creating the best of the chances. Hope Tom Chalmers, who went off injured in the first few minutes, is back soon.
