Don’t think I have seen a worse first half all season. Then again we had a forward line who were complete strangers.
Certainly improved after the break and twice came within a whisker of equalising but didn’t get a break when we needed it. Agree with Phil that we missed key players today and when the overall quality of the team drops even by a small amount we really struggle in this league.
Thought Haringey played very well, especially in the first half. Hardly got out of our half in the first half when we needed to hang on for 0-0. Conceding a goal in the last minute was no more than Haringey deserved. Hastings were much better in the second half but there was no Jo Gbode to rescue us.
Very disappointing for my first away game this season. Agree with all the earlier messages. Played like strangers at times and the long balls of the first half were frustrating and easily picked of by a competent defence. Too many passes going astray in the first half and several missed chances in the second. How we missed those unavailable!
The game began just like the Cray Valley cup game. And so it continued for the rest of the half. But we were much improved in the second half unlike Cray!
