U18 match last night
(Preview)
Saw the u18's last night and there were several mature displays from the lads. Sam Crutwell hit as good a goal as I've seen all season and Ben Phipps led the line with maturity and scored a good goal. All round it was a very good performance and a deserved 3-0 win. Shame there weren't more watching as these...

Tuesday : Margate - Hastings United The Robert Dyas League Cup 13-14 3 rd round

After the good result against Worthing Hastings will face another big test. In the 3rd round of the League Cup we travel to Margate who are currently at the 9th place in the Isthmian Premier League table. They won 4 of their 9 home games this season. They have no real top scorer in the team and that is why f...

An Old Photo I Found which is the old Hastings United Playing away at Poole Town on 23rd August 1980. I cant remember what the score was...

One to ponder....

Why not give young Sam Cruttwell a go at left back? He's a natural left footed player and won't be inclined to automatically cut inside like our right footed left backs have done so far. I know he's young but as so many more who are far better qualified than I am have said in the past, if you're good enough yo...

PERFORMANCE SO FAR - MARKS OUT OF 100

Based on what I've seen so far - the standard of the league seems similar to the old Southern League's Eastern Division we got out of in 01/02, I keep hearing people say what a poor level it is and how well we should be doing in it. I also find myself comparing the two teams and what we had back then was better p...
