Carshalton
(Preview)
First well done to our supporter Sally who won £169.50 on this weeks 50/50 with ticket 1244. As for the game up against a big tough Carshalton side ,I think we are learning fast that there are no easy games in this league but think we deserved this one ,excellent goal by Sam Hasler. Upto sixth in the league...

Do we come in next round on the 8th October? Or is it the following round on the 29th October? I'm guessing if it is the 8th, we are in the draw on Monday?

Cray Wanderers 0 Hastings 1
(Preview)
Cray Wanderers six game unbeaten league run came to an end as Hastings United took all three points from a tense game at Hayes Lane with a goal fifteen minutes from time from Ben Pope. In a game of few chances it looked like one goal would prove decisive and it came for Hastings United when Sam Hasler’s sho...

Potters Bar - Another Big Challenge
(Preview)
Well whoever conjured up this season's fixtures certainly made sure we weren't going to get an easy ride in to this season as we now take on the league leaders. OK, last week was a big disappointment and clearly our rather below strength team did not perform well. However I don't believe for one minute t...

Let’s not beat about the bush we were awful today, can’t think of one player who had a decent game ,attack non existent, think we had two shots all game ,they walked through our midfield and Louis busiest defender. And so to Lewes.....
(Preview)
After yesterday's entertaining and impressive victory it will be interesting to see what players and indeed what formation we start with tomorrow. O'Mara will be available so will we go with the same back three as at Folkestone ? If so, does Elliott play as wing back with Chalmers tucked inside ? I fe...

Bring on Brightlingsea
(Preview)
I don't think there is such a thing as a 'must win' game in August but I can't help feeling we really do need three points from this one. I am guessing that Brightlingsea may be the first 'lower half' team that we have played this season and with another very tough one coming up on Monday, I do feel we need to...

Useful run out against Eastbourne Borough. Although we lost 1-0 it was an entertaining game against a strong side .We were without Jack Dixon,Sam Adams,Tom Chalmers,Ben Pope, Alex Brefo, Craig Stone and Sam Hasler. However we did have Ryan Worrall, Ollie Black and Lloyd Dawes back ,who played the...

0-3 Defeat didn’t help losing Finn early on bossed second half without putting the ball in the net I must say even after only three games we’ve scored ONE goal look very light up top I’m in no way criticising Ben but we’ve no options we need another striker now

Managers...
(Preview)
Dave Ormerod has put a post on Facebook curious to how many Managers has the club had since 1996? Due to the fact Folkestone have only had one, Neil Cugley. I know not all on here go on Facebook, certainly Phil D. Who can possibly answer that off the top of his head. Certainly would be interesting to know...

Great battling performance, thoroughly deserved point. When I saw Jack Dixon and Ryan Worrall sitting behind us in the stand I was worried, but Kian Moynes and Kane Penn played their part , in fact they all did. Enjoyable game.

First home game v Aveley
(Preview)
I think this is going to be a stern test against last season's Isthmian Division 1 North Champions. Hope we can put out our strongest side, I think we will need it to be sure of getting something from the match. Attendance ? Around 1100, I guess, with a fair few preferring the beach ,

Looking forward to this one more than the last two at home, I think this will be a far better test for us, against opponents a league above. It would be nice to see the likely starting 11 together for a good part of the game. I know it's important to try all angles, but I would say as important to get that team t...

Good quality friendly last night. Guessing our starting eleven is close to how we will line up. All the new players looked good and we played with 3 centre backs and 2 wing backs. Confident our league campaign won't start off with a 6-0 defeat as happened the last time we were promoted!
