Let’s not beat about the bush we were awful today,can’t think of one player who had a decent game ,attack non existent,think we had two shots all game ,they walked through our midfield and Louis busiest defender. Cray Valley not the greatest team but they made us look poor today. Those supporters who believe being out of the cup to concentrate on the league have got their way today although I doubt any Potters Bar scout would be too worried.
Best part of the game was talking to Joe Gbode before the match. What a nice character. Don't think Cray Valley will have had an easier match this season. It seemed Cray could do what they liked against our non-existent midfield and continued to do so all game. A painful watch.
I hope all players are available for the coming Saturday at home to Potters Bar.
I wasn't at Cray, but the likelihood must be that the enforced team changes must have made some contribution to the poor performance.
We need a positive bounce back against the current leaders. Gary and the players themselves will need no reminding of that!
