Just heard from my friend Windy; we have a new Manager!
Hastings United are delighted to welcome Ronnie Dolan as our new First Team Manager.
Dolan, who previously had a spell playing at The Pilot Field, enjoyed a strong non-league playing career. He spent 10 years with Folkestone Invicta, helping the club secure promotion from Step 4 and, last season, promotion to the National League South before departing to join us at The Pilot Field.
A Hastings local with a strong understanding of both this level and the division above, Dolan now takes the next progressive step in his career as he moves into management.
Ronnie Dolan:“It’s a huge honour to become manager of Hastings United. This is a club with fantastic support, real history, and a fanbase that cares deeply about its football club. Living in the area, and having previously played for the club, I understand what Hastings United means to people, and that’s something I don’t take lightly.
My experiences winning titles with Folkestone Invicta showed me the standards, togetherness, and culture needed to be successful, and those are values I want to bring here. I want to create an environment where players work hard for each other, represent the badge properly, and give supporters a team they can believe in. I’m ambitious, hungry to learn, and fully committed to giving everything I have for this football club and its supporters.”
