First of all congratulations to our supporter Doug on winning this afternoons 50/50 draw with ticket 27605 prize £138.50. As for the game not the home start for 2025 that we needed. Plenty of endeavour but lacking somewhere ,anybody got any ideas.?
Well Phil, you may ask, maybe if we could pass to our own players, that might help, or win some headers, not been doing that for ages, how about winning some 50/50 balls, oh, and do not forget scoring a goal or two, they are getting fewer by the week, and when we do score, like yesterday, bit of a shambles. Mostly very basic skills. Time is definitely running out, and now the gap has appeared between us and that 5th from bottom place. I did not understand why Walker was No. 9. Of late imo, our best player by far, we hardly saw him yesterday. We were very lucky to get away with a 2- 1 defeat could have easily have been 4 or 5, and in return we offered nothing. Something has to change very soon, if not, back to that god awful league below for another 10 years, what an depressing thought.
