First of all congratulations to our supporter Tony on winning the 50/50 tonight ticket 21547 Prize £97.00. As for thr game the first 90 minutes were excellent. As good tonight as Saturday was bad. Bit of a scare in the 9 minutes extra time , when they pulled 2 back. But overall a deserved win and surely Fin Chapmans goal must be an early contender for goal of the season.

Absolutely loved doing the commentary with Tom last night. Tom was great . I had no idea that he has such a difficult job. As well as keeping on top of the commentary, it's his just job to update the Football Web pages(FWP) . I've noticed some fans complaining that there's a bit of delay with the updates.  Well, that's why.  Other clubs have a separate guy doing the updates.  Plus, the  box window is filthy . It's quite hard to see, especially on the far side by the bank. Didn't help that Chatham had a number 12 playing , there was no number 12 on their teamsheet provided !  Then the lights were left on in the mainstand at the start of the 2nd half , causing a glare.  Safety Dave needed reminding 🤣(cheers Dave🤣).     I thought the team had a much improved game. Nothing wrong with the players' attitude last night .and I liked the midfield of Lovatt ( my MoM) , Penn ,Moynes and Walker flying up n down the rright-handside.  Penn looked comfortable,  but Lovatt was running the show.  The defence of Young , Chapman,  alongside the composed Cruttwell , looked good . Until Crutts had to go off injured. I spoke to him afterwards. It's his knee again . But hopefully , he thinks it's not too serious . Let's hope so, as he's  proved to be vital.         I called it , as he took a twist to the knee blocking a point blank shot destined for a goal. He confirmed that's what done it. Personally, I'd have replaced him earlier as he carried on for a good extra 15 minutes..  But then again, would we have held on to that lead ? The forwards were tireless in their efforts.  3 cracking goals..Chapman's ? Wow ,,,,beautiful.   Yeah, overall, it was a great night . Just feel the fans need to encourage Tom with his commentary efforts.  It was only 3 years ago when we had nothing at all. That was my idea after a mate of mine ,who supports Basingstoke , suggested I should suggest it to our club. I was told at the time.. "" you want everything on a plate you do Windy 🤣"   Well we've got it now,,,support it !      Yeah great night,  I'd do it again
