Thank you for helping out today Phil, it was great to have you on board at the last minute and I echo your point - from today, whilst I thought it was unfortunate we conceded towards the end, the one aspect of todays game which impressed me the most was the football we played today with some lovely passages of play at times which was better than where it has been over the last few weeks however still a lot of work to do both on and off the pitch. Certainly someone other than DR scoring will make life a little easier for DB in his post-match interviews also when asked the question.
Wonder how much the excellent playing surface helped with our style of play. Impressed with the commitment of all our players, several of whom seemed out on their feet at the end. Lewes were able to bring on some really quick subs which made the last 15 minutes a bit tricky but we still came close to snatching a last minute winner. The two young lads in defence did well and Adam Lovatt was excellent. Hope we can keep this level of performance going.
