First of all congratulations to our supporter Jodie on winning the 50/50 with ticket 24927….£155.00.
As for the game thought Harefield put up a spirited display but if we had our shooting on it could have been three or four. Onto the next round ,will be interesting to see who we get.
Harefield paid the price of coming for the draw, risky game to play, if you drop a goal you'll be very lucky to come back from it, dropping a goal 1 minute from the end, well we know what happened. I think the ref. was the worst I have seen this season, he wasn't giving anything to either side. But that said we have a mountain to climb (depending on our next opponents) if we are to proceed to the following round, but the FA Cup does throw up some strange results. Fingers crossed.
Wasn’t there today but my dear old dad always used to say that in the first few rounds of the FA Cup you regularly got pretty awful refs.
There are just too many games for the number of half decent refs to go round……and you end up with one who struggles to run a County League match. We should get a better one in the next round.
Louis didn’t have a great amount to do however I was more surprised how we didn’t take our chances earlier before getting the goal at the end. You would think having dominated the second half we would have put two or three away but as you say Hastings2013, Harefield did indeed pay the price especially towards the end where they sat back deep for the last 10-15 minutes.
Big credit to the boys for putting up the fight during the whole 90 minutes and I felt when Fin came on that gave us some more energy in attack. Leo Young also looked very composed in defence and will be interesting to see if he starts more when Dequane’s suspension has finished.
You're right Tom, both Fin and Leo did well, as did Jack Dixon, again, so with him playing so well, why oh why isn't he playing just behind Davide and Billy, as he did so well in thet position in the past ? Mike

Certainly got to get Jack back in midfield. One other point worth mentioning is that we have scored 10 goals so far this season and Davide has 8 of them, which is fine but certainly needs help up front.
