Feel that this was a game of two halves , first 45 minutes totally dominated two good goals and totally ran the game. Kingstonian fan commented that we must have had easier training sessions .Second half we either played too deep or their Manager gave them a right telling off ,they pulled a goal back and at times it was squeaky bum time. Fortunately late penalty sealed it for us. Looking for a cracker against Horsham on Tuesday night.

Got a bit muddled, what their supporter said was that we must have had harder training sessions . Loved the song from the lads behind the goal comparing their keeper with Brad Friedel. For those who do not know Rob Tolfrey has played for Kingstonian since 2009 and bears a passing resemblance to the former American keeper although expletives were added.

Kingstonian looked a good side in the second half. Not sure why there was such a turn around from the first half which Hastings dominated. Hope Tom Chalmers is OK after coming off with a knee problem sustained when scoring our second goal.

Agree with all the above.
It really wasn’t a great spectacle today on a drying, bumpy pitch that desperately needs some warm sun to get the grass growing again. That said the last time I was there in 2007 it looked like a golden sandy beach.
One comment on performances….I am concerned about Jerry in the ‘Tom and Jerry’ heart of our defence. He really didn’t convince me today and I hope the classy Sam Gale is going to be available in some of these huge games coming up.

3 points is the most important thing and we managed  to get that and keep the momentum. Agree regarding Jerry but its early days. Sam gale still could come back whilst we also have Dan hull and JJ walker who could get an opportunity and play there if he doesnt improve.

Thought Jerry did ok and he made a very brave block getting in the way of a Kingstonian shot when it was 2-1.
