I'm glad that Chris is back. He created the platform from which Gary could secure promotion. Without the interuption of Covid he would have got that himself a year or two earlier. Some of us were unhappy when he left to leave Gary in charge, but I dont know the circumstances of that and, of course, as it happened it all turned out well for us. Chris played a slow build up passing game when he was with us before. 'Sideways' football some might call it. Attractive and effective though when the players are there who can execute it. Can our depleted current squad do that? I suspect we will need quite a few more comings and goings before we have a squad who can play how Chis wants them to play. And budget becomes a factor in how quickly that can be achieved. But it is good news that Chris is back!
