At least somebody is happy, our supporter Richard winning the 50/50 with ticket 9375 …£133.50. As for the game, first half was worst this season .Body language poor, we let them get two early goals and failed to break them down. Did we have a shot in the first half? Second half better but a great improvement needed Tuesday night.

You missed nothings at all, they would have stood a better chance had they not turned up !
They were abysmal. One of the worst performances I have seen in years.
As for Tuesday, well I hate to think what Hornchurch will do to them.
If they don't get it together very soon, they'll drop down the league like a stone.
Maybe they should try training together, that would help considerably.

I think Hastings2013 that you have summed it all up spot on!
Yes the thing that bothers me as well is the training situation where the London based players are training up there and the local players are training down here. Where is the manager as he can't be in two places as the same time? I think that we tried something like that once before and it never worked.
We seem to have an exceptionally experienced and talented squad that are not playing together as a team, where there are misplaced passes, players getting caught in possession, lack of communication where no one knows what the other one is doing, it's as if they just turn up together on a Saturday afternoon and expect to win.
I also think we are not completely match fit as we are so slow in the build up that the other team is back in position before we have even left our half. other teams seem to be so much quicker than we are. plus the way we are conceding soft goals is also very worrying.
I do hope that we can turn it around quickly like a good performance at Hornchurch on Tuesday, as like Hastings2013 says we will start dropping down the league table fast.

Summed up perfectly! The worry for me is we now go up against the league favourites and you can pretty much guess the starting 11 barring an injury that will play regardless the fact performances have been well below par!! The only change that will definelty happen will be leggy left out.  Harsh as he was hooked at half time but not once did we utilise his attributes and put the ball over the top, in fact we didn’t give him the ball at all.

we looked better with a back 3 but I can not work out why we don’t utilise someone that can actually pass a ball from the back if we are doing that. At one point it looked like young JJ would get his chance then the change never happened. Apart from stoney we just give it an away or kick the ball out of play!

Hopefully 3-4-3 next game make some changes! Get Tayo femi and Davide interchanging, use the wing backs to fill affect and chnage things up!

with regards to training don’t know how that works but from my count we only have 3 hastings based players anyway so shocked if they aren’t training together

I just want to endorse what has been posted earlier. It was grim, very disappointing. After we went behind there was no spark ,no oomph. Passes were going astray and we were well contained. The second half was better but all they had to do was defend in numbers and get bodies behind the ball. I lost count of the many blocks they managed. Why has it gone pear shaped after such a positive start to the season? Usually a new team takes time to bed in but we appear to have reversed that process. Sorry but I fear for us on Tuesday
