As for the game we were outplayed by a better team who are full time. We played a mixture of first team , fringe players and trialists and ended up with a 7-1 defeat. No complaints,but no doubt it was a learning curve for the Manager
Absolutely no complaints, well beaten by a vastly superior team, difficult to understand what can be learnt from playing a team who do not let you play, can't really say we were bad( even though a couple of the goals looked a biit soft), just totally out played.
It was a terrible performance from start to finish regardless if they are a league above. The only thing learnt was that some of the players aren’t good enough! May be harsh but that is the truth. Feel sorry for the players that had to come on at half time as that score line and scenario was always going to happen.
All it achieved was to dent the players who hadn’t had much of an opportunity confidence even more.

You could tell that something was obviously going horribly wrong from the complete absence of Twitter updates after the opening kick off. Not even a cursory mention of the full time score, or an acknowledgment for whoever got our goal.
