Solid performance against stronger opponents than Saturday and good to know we have a side who are going to be difficult to beat and can still take three points even when the midfield is evenly contested.
We are certainly looking solid at the back and, while we didn’t produce the openings we made on Saturday, I think we deserved the points.
The rather generous penalty, plus the bonus red card, was probably the decisive moment of the match as Cray were still in it at that point…..but we’ll have days when things don’t go our way.
The import thing is 1k+ fans went home happy!
Despite having a few chances in the first half, Cray didn't really force Charlie into making a save. Great watching this present Hastings side - long may it continue.
