Hoping for a home win in what I expect to be another close, attritional encounter this afternoon against a team who are struggling in the league above us.  The visitors are currently in pretty dreadful form having picked up only two points in their last eight league games....and I guess they won't be fancying the long trip too much today.

They may even see this as an unwanted distraction given their league position and a big second round FA Cup tie coming up next weekend.  So fingers crossed.........

Enjoyable second half when we finally decided to take the game to Chippenham. Ultimately defensive mistakes were costly as was our passive first half performance. An opportunity lost

First of all congratulations to our supporter John who won the 50/50 with ticket 2949 prize £132.50.
Missed most of the first half of the game but understand that their first goal was a defensive error. Thought that they were the better side from what I saw, indeed their second goal was another defensive area ,ball should have been booted into Row Z. Back to league next week.

No arguments here, they deserved their win, we made two terrible errors they didn`t, they scored two goals from our errors, our fault for messing about around the penalty area, again, nearly cost us on Tuesday too ! We must stop doing it and get the ball into their half, we cannot score from our constant back passing. Best form of defence is attack.

If we had won would have been away to Torquay…..a proper day out.

When we lost in the trophy to Aveley a couple of seasons back, they also drew Torquay in the next round.

But as you say Phil, a proper day out. To be honest a weekender. Stay at Fawlty Towers?
