Yet another home tie against one of the pace-setters.
However Potters Bar don't quite have the mean defensive record of Bishop's Stortford so hopefully a rather more open game with a little more goalmouth action than the last home game.
We should be in confident mood after two excellent away wins so I will go for a narrow victory.
First of all congratulations to Murphy ,home and away supporter who won tonight’s 50/50 ticket 1741 prize £120.50…….well done. As for the game thought we deserved a point. Missed Ben tonight with the flu,but we must start putting chances away.
Didn't feel too disappointed with the result in our previous two home defeats. Not so tonight when quite clearly the far better side lost !
Thought we dominated most of the first half and could easily have had two or three in a 20 minute spell. Instead we went in at half time a goal down to a massive deflection. No justice whatsoever !
Felt we created less in the second half but even so looked like we had snatched the draw that would have been the very least we deserved. Anyone get a better view of that incident ?
Plenty of positives tonight against another top side and I am liking the Sammy/TC combination leading the line.
Should have more than enough to see off Burgess Hill on Saturday.
Despite the unlucky defeat, enjoyed the way Hastings played. A good team performance that deserved 3 points. On another day we would have been 3-0 up at half time. The football is so much better in this league.
Your right Phil, we need to put the chances away, and your right Mick, we should have gone in at half time 2 up, sorry to be boring, but we need a striker, a proper striker. nough said.

I Felt that we were on top for most of the game and the better side against a team second in the league. However we have to take the chances we are given we could have got 3 or 4 if we were more composed in front of goal.
