Not the greatest of games, in fact just the opposite…….misplaced passes and nobody seemed to have any idea where the goal was.Still we woke up during the penalty shootout. Massive improvement required next week against Bishops Stortford.
First half pretty even but could have done with Sam H hitting the target with his clear shot at goal at the end of the first half. We started to create chances in the second through our misplaced passes setting up the Police forwards but they too were wayward with their shooting. At least we ended the game strongly and Knory could have stolen a last minute winner. The pink socks worn by the Police keeper made it certain Hastings were going to win the pens even if neither keeper made a save. Wonder if the Police player who missed the pen had entered the YouTube worst penalty of the year award or even if he was related to Lenny Pigeley.
