Well the table and form guide suggest this should be a comfortable victory but we saw Lancing put up a stubborn defence against us at the start of the year. Furthermore they desperately need the points to try to remain in this league while we are just playing for the record points total. Nice to have but not essential.
I'm sure Ben and Sammy will start today and maybe Kane as well with plenty of subs used to share the burden of two games in three days.
I've not seen us lose on our travels in the league this season....I am confident that will continue.
Felt this was more comfortable than the 2-0 score suggests and we should really have won by a few more.
Two quality goals from Ben and James in the first half settled it and we never looked like losing control, even with a much changed team.
It is really encouraging to see our local young players slipping into the team and performing so well.
Totally agree Mick , thought we won at a canter, although man of the match was their keeper who looked useful.Youngsters slotted in well, looking forward to next season already.
