Lovely city to visit ,plenty of history, but finding football ground a nightmare ,no signs anywhere and locals did not know. Found in the end but many parked in official car park paying   £4/5. First half pretty forgetful ,ball being lumped everywhere ,second half better even after Sam Hasler sent off .Deserved win in the end. Our friends ? from Corinthian next week.

I know the feeling feel. Costt me £4.40 in the car park.

Asked three people the way. First had no idea, knew where the rugby club was, and they were born there!

Second, was one of the car park attendants, but he was not local and had no idea.

The third was the best, he was local, but originally from Hastings. I asked he was going, no, he was off to work. He also had no idea where it was.

So I phoned another supporter who was already there to guide me in.

On the positive side, we won't be going there next season. We'll I hope not. I can't think of any ground in this division I will miss next season.

Finn and Craig excellent at the back today. Sam made a difference to our midfield in the second half and was very unlucky to get 2 yellow cards. Brilliant 3 points today.

Aside from Sam Hasler’s red card, yesterday afternoon could hardly have gone better. What sounded like another hard-fought win, a clean sheet, and defeat for Cray Valley. Nine points clear with nine to play. Seven more wins for the title. An incredible turnaround from where we were in mid-November.

Danny Parrish should be an excellent player for us- he's certainly caused us some problems in the past. We looked a bit stretched in middle in the first half so was pleased when Sam Hasler came on at half-time. Our crosses from corners and free kicks were poor, unusually, for .much of the game and we certainly linked play better down the right ( Tom and Gnory) than the left. Ismaillo just couldn't get in the game and I don't think Tom Cooney has found his best form yet. So pleased to have Craig and Finn at the back- after a few mishaps early on they have formed a solid partnership. Louis had little to do such was the quality of our defence. Tom Chalmers and Jack both played well while Ben, in the first half, had the Chichester defenders moaning and griping non-stop to the ref about alleged misdemeanors. Just getting ready for Corinthian next week! The ref was one of the worst types- wanting to be the centre of attention and waving cards around randomly. Think Sam Hasler was the victim of his showmanship. Pleasant but basic ground and one of the many it would be good not to return to next season.

Watched the U23'S play and win 2-0 against Phoenix last night. An entertaining game with aot of good football. The stand out player was James Hull. As well as scoring the 2 goals he caused all manner of problems for the Phoenix defence. Great prospect.
