Never been a huge fan of 'player managers' because I don't believe that you can give both jobs 100%. That said, that doesn't mean I don't want to see Gary back on the pitch as soon as possible.
It will be interesting to see if he tweaks our style in any way.
I'm sure us 'experts' have a few ideas of our own.
Enjoyed the podcast chat with Billy, Chris. Pleased to hear that Jon Meeney has been appointed as Gary's assistant....sounds like a good move, particularly with Gary so important to our defence (and it seems fit for Saturday.) And the possibility of a new signing or two to strengthen the squad ?
