Really enjoyable match and an assured performance from all the players.
Beckenham started well and are clearly a decent side. But our excellent defence, led by what must be the two best centre halves in our league, held firm. Hastings started to put together some good moves, one of which ended with a great strike from Sam Hasler.
Pleased to see Tom Chalmers add a second and
Hastings played some good football in a controlled second half performance. The promising Freddie Warren scored his first Hastings goal to finish off a convincing win against dangerous opponents.
Sam Adams, Tom and Jack were combining well in midfield and Dave Martin and Sam Hasler look quality players.
Ollie and Marcus performed well at fullback and hopefully, Marcus's injury is not too bad.
Nice to be at home in the next round.

You are far more articulate than me Tim and you summed the game up excellently, although I think the third goal was Freddie Legg not Freddie Warren……too many Freddies. Decent ground for their level and nice people.

Yes it was Freddie Legg! His mum and dad won't be happy with me!
