Excellent workmanlike performance against Haywards Heath. Everybody put in a shift although the plaudits will go to two of our,er,most senior players Kenny Pogue with a hat trick and the others from Sam Adams including a rocket free kick. Sam is probably in his best form for ages.
Really looking forward to Saturdays game against VCD.
Great result but I want to see Ben on the scoresheet as soon as possible.
Looks like Saturday will be a much bigger test against VCD with their 100% league record....that said they were thrashed 6-0 by Cray Valley in the FA Cup......so who knows !
Kenny’s 3rd was as good a header as you will see anywhere, the concern must be all the injuries we keep getting, so we may have Jack back for Saturday but it looks like we lost 2 more to medium term injuries last evening, and even Ben limped off and Ollie wasn’t moving great at the end, so fingers crossed all is ok.
As Chris mentioned we had quite a list of absentees last night for varying reasons.
Most notable were Lovatt,Rodari,Dawes,Crutwell,Dixon,Sterling-Parker and Ward.
