Please be aware that our trip back tomorrow will be hindered by road closure. The A27 is closed after 8pm between Drussilas and Polegate.

Luckily the planned road closure did not materialise. Happy with that and the point!

A fair result last night with both sides having periods of dominance. The only regret is that Ben had a great chance to nick us a win in the last couple of minutes but failed to make good contact.
There were some significant changes to the line up with both Daniel, Lanre, Ryan and James Poole all starting on the bench. I'll let others judge whether this really worked or not.
The important thing........we didn't lose !

Yes, after a season of few surprises on the team-sheet, I couldn't really figure out who was going to play where in that line-up. Can anyone who was there shed some light?

Jerald played in front of jake, Sam Beale in front of Ollie, with Sam A and jack in the middle. Warren up top with Ben. Jerald and jake looked secure at the back but didn’t look so good going forward. Ollie and Sam b really struggled against the excellent Whitehawk no. 7 (rodriquez?).
Surprisingly Conceded two goals from set pieces.
Good turn out of away supporters, but must mention the Whitehawk support which was immense. Most of their crowd behind the goal, very loud, very musical, and not a profanity to be heard. Very friendly too.

Bloody A27 was closed at Falmer. Had to go back on myself and get on the 259 to Newhaven. Shame we didn’t win but we all would have taken a point at the start.
