Had to really dig deep this afternoon. Whitehawk gave us a good test a few months ago but today was a tough one against a decent Haywards Heath side. They're probably pretty brassed off they didn't get anything from a pretty even game, indeed they dominated much of the second half but our lads kept their leeper marginally the busier of the two.
Well played Louis Rogers. Two great saves to keep out the penalty and a later effort. The penalty save was particularly enjoyable given that Trevor McCreadie took it.
We lost twice to these last season, the defeat here was hard to take so taking four points off em this time around redresses the balance considerably. 759 - great attendance for step 4. Well done lads. Next week should see Craig Stone back and hopefully Messrs Lovatt and Rodari are improving.
