Saw this and thought strange having an inspection a day before the game. Then realised it's tonight! Why is this game not in it's usual Saturday 3pm slot? Can't make tonight if it is on as work Christmas party. At least I can have a whole day Christmas shopping tomorrow
Same as Cliff! First home game I’ve missed in probably 10 years plus. I really do hope they get a decent crowd as it’s for such an important cause but I do have my doubts. Everyone I speak too has Xmas parties/meals tonight.
Will attend and sell Programmes and 50/50 tickets but would agree it is rather strange playing on a Friday night whereas there are at least 6 games tomorrow. Can’t see Herne Bay bringing many.
Presumably the pitch will be subject to an inspection by the match referee whenever he arrives at the ground this evening. I guess it's still only 50/50 as things stand.
