Another game played on a sweltering afteroon, dominated most of the game but could not find that final touch. Ben missed a couple which he would have scored on another day, but defences generally in charge. East Grinstead seemed to have the knack of falling over at every opportunity, each player being treated by a man with a bottle of water !! ...Who needs the NHS ? On a positive note a point is more than we got last season, and good to see Davide back.

I thought it was a game we should of won by half time, as we did miss some sitters! We were clearly the better side but these are the sort of teams we have too beat. Defensively, we are more solid than recent years we have which is nice too see. That said, I'm sure the goals will come soon.
Yes. Should've done to East Grinstead what Ashford did at Three Bridges. Frustrating first half with several missed chances. But it's early days and another month is needed to get a proper idea of where we are.
