Not a particularly enjoyable game tonight or good performance off the back of Saturdays exceptional display albeit in very tough and blustery conditions. Thought Sammy and Lanre had very good games but Craig Stone was the outstanding player on the pitch and last 15mins he almost single handedly kept us in front as we came under constant heavy pressure. Looks a great signing! For me the goalkeeper and left back positions continue to be a real concern, and up top it does concern me if we ever lose Daniel or Davide but after the weekend just gone I guess we will all take a scrappy win.

suppose football is about opinions, i though in the first half in particular we had a good shape and pressed eastbourne excellently, created lots of good moments and ben pope more and more is setlling in to be that anchor up front for us, tirelessly causing a nuisance. I thought our goalie pulled of a couple of cracking saves meself against a decent eastbourne side...you wouldnt have known they are a league above us remotely. Second half i think a combination of subs tiredness and that wind!! meant eastbourne were on top a bit but we held out. Didnt even mind the bus replacement home

Understandable that given the number of Eastbourne outfits.
