After the tumultuous game against EGT it is another away game now against HAYWARDS.jpg

Haywards are currently the number 6th in the table with 25 points out of 15 games.

They scored 27 and conceded 20 goals. Top scorer is Akehurst with 5 goals.

They play at: Hanbury stadium, Allen Road, Haywards Heath, West Sussex ?url=images.pitchero.com%2Fui%2F370261%2

And we? Surely we are not on our best and so it seems the same problems - esp against the top teams - in our defense we are not able to solve yet. also the absence of our top scorer will have some influence but hopefully others will stand up!

Safe journey and COYU'ssssssssss!

Didn't go either but since Golding went we are on a downward turn. sometimes the old saying if it aint broke dont fix it is good advice. We was doing well but then too many changes and the advantage of early season squad stability and losing decent players appears to have hit us. Maybe after the FA Cup defeat the budget was cut as both Golding and Christie went to higher league clubs. Hope we can get back to winning ways next Saturday. Absolutely pointless game on Tuesday need to seriously concentrate on the league so we dont fall away from play off positions.

Yes Cliff, said the same to my mate on the phone as he went today. We do certainly miss Golding.

Golding started today for Lewes and played all 90 minutes. They won 2 -1 and are 2nd in the Premier. Maybe we can get him back if he is only on loan

Terribly disappointed today, losing to a workmanlike Haywards Heath. Thought the first half was as dull as the day. Sam Adams scored early in the second half , playing out of position as main striker. We then had three chances to put the game to bed. Haywards Heath then brought on a big striker who caused all sorts of problems , and scored twice. Certainly missed Daniel up front. Chris has to sort this quickly otherwise we will start sliding down the table,

Most unfair that sides are not playing properly in the Bostik League. We play properly taking about 20 passes to get to the half way line while other teams are scoring after one or two passes. Even worse, they are scoring from free kicks and corners. How can we play proper football when its windy, wet or muddy.
