Top performance today from Hastings against a very good opponent and very unfortunate to come away with just a point. Despite a fairly tight opening 20mins in which Hastings went one down to a Sam Corne tap in Hastings went on to completely dominate the rest of the half with both Sinnkaye and Walker scoring fairly similar goals in the space of two minutes after great work from both Dullaway and Rodari in the build up. Either side of this the Greenwich keeper made a number of super saves to keep Adams, Rodari and Sinnkaye at bay and keep the score line within the home teams reach.

Second half was a much tighter affair, with Hastings in full control, defending superbly, and with Adams, Dixon and Lovett dominating the centre of the park. Couldnt see any way back for Greenwich until in the 67th minute Dixon was sent off for what I can only guess as being constant minor infringements. Think he was very unfortunate and up to that moment I thought he was having his bet game of the season. Despite the sending off Hastings still looked in control in the final quarter until Sam Corne scored his second of the game in the last minute heading in at the far post after a super cross from the right. A couple of nervous moments after but Hastings held on for a deserved point.

Really hard to pick out individuals today but Rodari worked really hard up top on his own, the central three excellent as stated and Sammy Adams just gets better with age. But the back four were superb with Sinnkaye Christie the stand out player. He barely gave the superb Jack Barham a kick and was my MOM. My only fear is many more performances like that and we won’t see him in a Hastings shirt next season.

So a really promising performance against one of the top sides and no sign of end of season taking it easy. Excellent performance.

Excellent performance today ,everybody put in a shift, differ from John as I thought Ollie Rowe was superb.Given the opposition probably one of our best performances of the season.
Suppose Jack had to go, but if you had seen the cuts, abrasions and blood on his leg then to say he was rather miffed is an understatement. Referee poor.
Future looking good.

Ollie pushed him very close Phil. I do hope the rumours circulating about him not being here next season are not true. I honestly believe he is the best and most consistent defender in the league. Absolute quality and a top bloke to go with it.

Totally agree John, Ollie would have been number one on my retained list. As you say very consistent and top bloke.

Ollie will Be gone by next week ... , you know it ! ..but we march on .... to be fair we looked good today and what a good job Chris has done with this team and his affiliation to the fans after many doubts in the early season including myself and many during that troubled couple of months

Good suppprt today and fun times .. loving the ‘jeans’ song by the loyal
Away crew ....

Good luck to Greenwich , got to say what a superb keeper and fit looking team ... the playoffs should be good this year
