Thanks for sharing this ... I’m taking it that the venue is the Salts st Rye ? I love anything connected with local history especially Football connected . What a crowd !! I played in a Lower Divisions Cup Final for Old Cents at Ninfield once but we didn’t have crowd like that biggrin . Great quality !! Superb ! Cheers !

Found some more...



Guess the cup final was well attended as it was two local village sides that probably had players that lived or worked in Rye, they all know each other out that way...
When I reached the Robertsbridge cup final with Mountfield a few seasons ago, we played Hawkhurst at Robertsbridge and there was at least 200 people watching.
