If the weather forecast is to be believed it’s going to be a bit parky

Not a great game but was very impressed by the way our young team played against one of the better sides in the division. If you are being honest WC were worth a draw, but in view of all the times this season where we have been unlucky not to win, to get one the other way is nothing to complain about.

A deserved win against a Walton team who had no ambition other than keep the point they came with. Nice touch of class from Antonio to set up Davide for a good finish. Sam Beale was deservedly M-o-M, a solid performance from the team. We could have done with a bit more excitement to warm us but will settle for three points.

dont know how Walton are in the play offs because they really were nothing special. at times the game was tedious and overall in a game with very few chances maybe we just shaded them but probably a draw was a fair result.

Didn’t think that Walton were a bad side, thought that we played better after we scored. A couple of dodgy back passes we have to learn from. Sam Adams not a main striker, should have Rodari upfront. Beale man of the Match. All supporters deserve a medal , or maybe hot water bottle, for turning up on such a cold day.

I thought Walton were very unadventurous in the first half, as were we. I think our first shot on target was a couple of minutes before half-time. Phil is right to mention the dodgy back passes. We were lucky to get away with those! In the second half, I thought we could quite easily have shipped two or three goals. Charlie made some good saves but he also had a few rushes of blood challenging way outside his area. Agree Sam Beale MoM. Sam Adams worked hard; Rodari I thought disappointing. Antonio did well in the build up for our goal with a pacy run which he was not doing in the first half. So, yes, we were lucky to get all three points.

yes the back passing was scary, at times i think players need to know when to just lump it forward or out of play. Instead we want to pass and pass and it could have put Walton out of sight before we got the first chance just before half time especially as Walton missed a chance from in the 6 yard box that looked easier to score from. From the first game I saw against Herne Bay there is a big improvement but think we are just too 1 dimensional and we need to mix it up a bit to keep teams guessing

I for one think we did OK, considering that we were 17 points behind them, with a really young team, getting them selves together, they showed guts, would not stop chipping away until the reward came, that takes guts, and patience. Maybe not the best game we`ve seen this season, but good in it`s way, mistakes happen, so long as we learn from them, most of them are still young, they will learn, and with the likes of Sammy Adams leading them, they will come up trumps.

I missed even that, Tim. He certainly didn't stand out.

I wondered why Sam cruttwell was absent?

Believe Sam got injured in training, collided with another player apparently. Certainly limping about on Saturday.
