Thank you Leon , Great memories of such a great guy . I was talking to Pete Herritage the other day via social media and i have my own fond memory of Chris. Pete suggested i shared it on facebook but i haven't an account so here goes .

It must have been the summer of 1976 ,,the year of the drought. I was aged 15 trying to play pitch n putt on the East Hill. Just about to tee off and up strides Tutty behind us with his mates .He was a great piss taker and didn't let up at every shot we took. He was of course not half bad . After about 3 holes we decided to let him and his mates play though. He of course declines , much to his mates dismay , as he found it more fun taking the mick out of us all the way round. Tutty being a few years older than us, we decided to play on .We get to what was the end of a very painful round and he comes running over as we are about to hand in our clubs . He then pays for our round for us and walks away  ...smiling ,,,saying thanks for the laughs lads !". That's what a nice lad he was. I never forgot that !

Years later he was down Scalliwags night club... Now Tutty was as big lad and the most awkward dancer you would ever see in your life. We gave him back the stick he gave us on the hill .He took it well and ended up buying us all drinks  ...A real larger than life character ....RIP Tutty  !!
