Haven't posted for an age but was wondering if any of the following especially the likes of Mr Stoddart etc. remember the Hastings United v International XI that was played on this date . I believe it was the Bobby Drake Testimonial match.

Still have the programme for this game Chris, as you say was played on Sunday 28th April 1974 kick off 3pm. Admission 30p Children 20p.
The Hastings squad was Martin Arnold, John Jefferson, Bobby Nash, Cyril Jeans, Graham Mackman , Derek Morris, John Ripley, Micky Griffiths, Kevin Barry, Barry Taylor, Steve Gill and Bobby Drake.
The International Team was Peter Bonnetti, Peter Sillett, Jimmy Langley, Alan Mullery, John Dempsey, Bobby Moore, Jim Conway, Ken Shellito, Barry Bridges, Fred Callaghan, Jimmy Greaves, Dave Sexton.
Don’t recall the score or attendance.....but the front of the Programme states “ The Club Bar will not be open today ! “...........must have lost a few quid there.
Here's the programme and picture from the Observer. Got lots of autographs that day. I was only nine back then, but if my memory serves me right, Jimmy Greaves did not turn up. Pissed?
