Chris Agutter is delighted to welcome the signing of Kingstonian forward Daniel Ajakaiye on an initial months loan! Subject to league clearance Ajakaiye who recently completed a transfer from Whyteleafe to Kingstonian will bolster the U’s attacking options ahead of tomorrow’s visit of promotion chasing Greenwich Borough!
Agutter commented on the signing, ‘I’m a huge fan of Daniels, when I initially took over as Manager I enquired about his availability before he then moved to Kingstonian-I knew him from his Bromley days when as a teenager he really caught my eye.....he’s very very very fast and very powerful with an eye for goal, at 20 years of age we are getting a player who again ticks all the right boxes in terms of profile and the direction that the club is heading. We obviously have hopes for a longer term deal which we’ll be exploring over the next month!’
Ajakaiye said on the move, ‘I’m really looking forward to playing for Hastings Utd, it’s a really big club with a really well respected Manager who I know can help me improve as a player, i can’t wait to get started’.
