Sadly Died yesterday ... played for Sutton and Cray non league until spotted by Don Revie at Leeds in a 6-0 fa cup game against Leeds . Only played twice for Leeds , breaking his knee cap
signed by Revie for Leeds, went on to play for Luton 290 games and also managed Norwich City
I remember him too from my days in Luton. He got a bit of flack from the opposition sometimes for his hair loss & I remember him coming onto the pitch once wearing a dark wig, which raised a laugh... a good no. 5.
