Those of you loyal fans travelling by road beware of possible delays around Lewes on the way home due to their bonfire night. Might be easier going home via the coast road . Just a thought .
What a game (not) the new player done well one of the best players on there. But my god the Shoreham number 3 rolling around like a ...... making out he got hit in the face then gets up and says he stamped on me errrrmmmm OK you got skinned.and fell to the ground Oh and the ref blowing every time they screamed like littel girls was a rubbish game. We will be lucky if we stay in the league if it carries on like this.
When did screaming in agony when feigning injury creep into our game? It was so noticable yesterday that every time Hastings got near Horsham’s goal a player would let out a shriek and hit the deck as if poleaxed. The ref bought it and it broke the game up constantly. Pitch was poor and seemed much smaller than most. We didn’t play tha well in the first half but didn’t deserve to go in one down. Second half was better but it took substitutions by Chris and Jack’s red card to brong the game alive. Great finish from Gelding from a subtle header down from Kenny who forced a great save with his first touch with a goal bound header. Crutts played well but my MoM was Gelding.
Looked special that gelding as soon as he got on the pitch ... attitude and aggression .. at times their defence couldn't touch him ...noticed him giving Ansu intrusions as well. ... well Medlock like and he deserved the goal
Good away game which was enjoyable ... if we are focused into Chris's statement then this is the start of the long rebuild ... in which ok we didn't win , but great entertainment for £9 ....and some different players to mix up with the youngsters
When is Bradley coming back ? .. he is an intelligent lad with great thoughtful crosses which will suit Gelding .
Little common have released him back , I hope he doesn't slip into nothing like they did to Karl Holdon
I would like to make a complaint about the safety officer !!! ... broken the drum stick not wearing safety gloves or goggles !!! ... Mr Chairman this is a modern disgrace !!! ( only joking Dave Russell ... crackled me up watching you lot on that drum !! 😂😂)
That was ok at Shoreham. They're bottom of the league, had let in 41 goals etc - but a 1-1 draw after all the upheaval we've had was fine by me. And it was worth the traipse just to see the Gelding goal. Charlie won't have a quieter game yet we left it so late to get the point! I thought Jack was unlucky to get a red card given the provocation and shirt pulling by the Shoreham 8 who did the old face clutching routine.
Wow!! Is this really where we are as a club now that supporters are happy with a point at Shoreham, arguably the most limited club I have ever seen at this level. Always enjoy reading your posts Simon but cannot agree with that at all. Shoreham were dreadful and I’ll be amazed if they stay up this season
New lad was a breath of fresh air and best player on the pitch when we managed to get the ball to him. All the youngsters really struggled yesterday but consistency will come with games. Really felt sorry for Rodari. Up top, on his own all match and next to no service. We then finally stick two up top and start causing them problems and what do we do with Rodari? take Sam Adams off and stick him in centre midfield. Don’t get it but I guess the manager will say it got him a point.
Dixon deserved to go, he knows that, no complaints from him despite the play acting and it was a real shame as he had a really strong second half and like the look of him in the centre with Sammy. Crutts had his best game for a while but we are desperately short up top. We badly need a top striker and apart from a thunderous shot against the bar from Dixon we barely made a chance until the last 10 minutes.
Unlike Chris, I don’t know how anyone can think that was great entertainment. Horrible ground, poor pitch and Shoreham moaned from beginning to end. I even saw their subs aim kicks at Dane when he tried to retrieve the ball from the dugout.
I thought it was a below average performance against a dreadful team, with very little creativity throughout. What I will say is Chris wants to be judged on his team and his signings and I thought Gelding, arguably his first proper signing looks a fantastic prospect, so he deserves credit for that and let’s hope more are to follow soon.

bottom of the lg side had to wait to very late to get a point dos'nt matter how much they cried got to beat sides like that bottom half of the table now 17th and these were a side people were saying we got some winnable games coming up,must do better much better.
Hear all you say John, but as I said, after all the crap we've had to endure in taking 8 points from 11 games, I was indeed glad to get anything. And dead right - it is an indication of what stage we have reached that I happily take a point from a side, even one as dire and unpleasant as Shoreham. Much of their shenanigans - including the Oscar antics to help get Jack sent off - clearly originate from their manager. I don't get the constant positional changes either - too much tinkering. Agree totally re Gelding - he looks thepart which probably means he'll be on his way ...........
