Hastings United FC is delighted to welcome Steve Sallis to the Club as Agutter appoints his Assistant Manager.
Steve is an extremely charismatic individual who boasts an impressive background in both non-league and professional football, he is the former Assistant Manager at Leatherhead where he worked alongside the likes of ex-Premier League player Jimmy Bullard, he spent four seasons at Millwall Football Club as part of their academy management team which he left in July 2017, and he now works with the England National U15 football team as a consultant for the 2017/18 season. On a day to day basis Steve works with several premier league and football league players offering mental conditioning support and mentoring.
On his Appointment Agutter commented, 'Steve is a very intelligent, engaging and committed individual who will bring a varied type of skill set to the table, a skill set that is different to my more traditional coaching abilities which can only contribute positively to this exciting challenge. As well as Steve's academic background he boasts a great knowledge of non-league football in terms of opposition and players so once I got the job it was a complete no-brainer to bring him in. On behalf of everyone at the Club we welcome Steve and thoroughly look forward to having him on board'.
