Sorry Simon I have my doubts  but  really hope it will turn out well.

Many things happened the last months at the club and personally I find the departure of my dear friend Barrie West the most sad thing.

Also a lot of players left, more volunteers went and last but not least the manager is gone too.

This all can't be by chance happened, don't you think?

What will happen at that evening? All who went are wrong?? Or did the club make mistakes and will admit it.

Or did the club made mistakes but won't admit it............

Hope for the best!

It really is quite simple, you either support the club or you don't . No supporter has any right to say who comes or goes, that is down to the Board and Management. If you can't live with that there are plenty of other clubs.

I don't think this would have been your reply if it was the previous regime in charge philg. They might be your mates but it is still a complete and utter shambles.

While I hear what Bert says and understand his feelings - at least the club has (presumably!) looked at what's been going on recently and will face supporters at a meeting instead of issuing more bland statements. Things could've been left to fester so this is a small step in the right direction. And I think Chris Agutter gave a good interview on Twitter after the Molesey game. I just hope people in charge can see what a state it's all in and will put things right. And it IS in a state - 16th in the league, 12 points off the top two. Nobody can have envisaged that even with the departure of four to Margate plus the loss of Jerrome Sobers.

Lots of things going on at the club but having a fan's forum is a step in the right direction. I hope we get answers to more than just on field issues.

Assume Dave Nessling will take part as well? No mention on the website but if not little use in anyone going if the main man is not there to take questions.

Also a real shame it's not taking place on a Tuesday after a home game like we have before. Think you would get five times the turn out of supporters but maybe the club have already thought of that?

Sorry Phil, think it is not so simple. Supporting NEC for 50 years, Fulham for more then 20 years and Hastings these are my 3 clubs.

Thinks history has proven that each club has one stability and that are the Supporters. They always come and board and management changes a lot.

So yes I support the clubs 100% but if there are matters - all what happened the last months - then every supporter has the right

to ask what is going on! And to be entitled to get the honest answers.

John, I believe they originally wanted the Fans Forum before a Tuesday game which would be silly. Personally it should be after a Saturday game at 5,30pm but we don't have one for weeks. I hopefully shall go, but I come back to my original point, if you don't like what you hear what are you going to do? Like others I agree there seems to have been strange decisions but I shall still support the team as I did under the previous regime, rarely missing a game ,home or away.

Agree it’s a shame it’s not after a game preferably on a Saturday as they’ve always been the well attended and interesting ones.

Good to have these from time to time of course but their use is as always dependent on the the fans present and the questions asked and both of those improve when held after games.

Still think the club played it right after last weeks shambles .. they kept quiet on Saturday only calling this forum to please the masses

Phil is right , yes we are the supporters and we do deserve an opinion ... but the board will do what they want and think is right .... it may be wrong but loyalty of the supporters will never change .. its the only loyalty left in the modern game spoiled by money and greed sadly at all levels

Will I go , prob not as i have heard it all before . There could be hidden agenda in the board , could be money , could be the sale of the ground ... I think some of them are in it for the love of Hastings's esp the chairman but theres possibility of others with agenda ... who knows , ?

All I know is , I am fed up with the prem nonsense and the spoilt game and enjoy my non league football and a club I have made mine .. i  be there home and away ( even flipping Guernsey !!)

Hopefully this fans forum will answer all the questions and help to glue the broken support together ... that's not a bad thing is it?

Up the arrows !

it may be right what you say chris and the board will do what it wants then don't you have thatprem nonsense right down at this level, and you will get a gap between supporter and club which ive felt we didn't have at our club.and yes your right the loyalty will always be there for the team.
