The Club is pleased to advise it has won its appeal against the red card issued to defender Ollie Rowe in the first half of the match against Lewes on August bank holiday Monday.
The Club thought it had a good case having viewed video footage of the incident that lead to Ollie's red card and submitted the video footage with the appeal to the FA.
Although the Club believe justice has been done it does not of course alter the fact that the red card negatively impacted on United during the match.

10 years ago - even less maybe - there would've been no question of lodging an appeal and we'd have lost Ollie for 3 games but times have moved on markedly and media coverage of semi pro football makes such appeals possible. Excellent news.
I must admit I thought it was a red card until I saw the recording. So glad we had a professional camera man on site last Monday as I don't think it would have been the same result without the video evidence. No blame to the ref, as I wasn't the only Hastings supporter who thoughtit was a red.
