After the good win against Hythe is it now a difficult task against
Faversham are currently the number 13th in the table with 42 points out of 27 games.
Scored 53 and conceded 37 goals.
Faversham won 4 and drew 2 from their last 6 games.
Faversham plays at The Sheperd Neame Stadium, Salters Lane
And we? Think the win against Hythe was in many aspects a very important win. The next 2 games against Faversham and South Park will be crucial in our search for a play off place.
Safe journey for all the traveling supporters and be the 12th men this game.
Just seen the forecast for Faversham tonight and it looks like heavy rain. Anyone know if their pitch is OK as there is nothing on either their or our websites? I don't fancy another wasted journey as I've been to Faversham and Hythe and both had late cancellations.
I went on the Faversham FC forum and nothing has been posted on there since August 2016 so very poor indeed, in fact a lot of other fans forums at this level have nothing much on them, some have very little or no information at all so ours must be one of the best in our league!
Perhaps FAV Army who is a member on our forum will come on here and update us!
Well what a mixed performance. Good 1st half awful 2nd half. Draw was probably the right result as neither team could pass to a player in the same colour shirt. There is absolutely no way we can string 6 wins in a row. Just not good enough. Lenny had another good game as did the left back. Sobers stood out at centre half. But as for the rest it was very average. Still we avoided defeat.
Couldn't make it last night. Was there an improved performance from Keirnon Chris? and did Bodkin deserve to go? take it that is a 3 match ban now for a straight red.
I see South Park won again last night 4-0 at Premier league Harrow. How the hell does a team that size, with those crowds, that pay next to no wages, go on such an incredible run as they are. We have them on Saturday and they are just steam rolling everyone. Are they even title favourites now? 8 wins in a row and 32 goals scored, quite amazing and what a job their new manager has done.
Didnt see Bodkin incident to judge. However keirnon just doesnt do enough. Perhaps he makes a better impact player coming on in the last quarter. Im not so sure losing Bodkin for 3 games will be a miss as apart from the goal his contribution was very average. May do us good to play without him.
Bod's red was right he went in with both feet off the ground. Ref got it right but bottled it in the first half when their player, who was on a yellow card, deliberately handled the ball and only got a lecture. Kiernan didn't have a bad game and looks like he has goals in him but it wasn't our night. Crutts came on but didn't have ime to make an impact. Harry has an injury but not sure how serious. On the positive side John and Jerome provided stability at the back and Jack got a bit of game time and almost won it at the end, with a great display of strength and ability. I agree with Chris that a draw was about fair and there was, at least, some good football in the first half. Onward and upward.
Good watch. The things I noticed were definite sending off unfortunately as Bods really not that sort of player. Weakest penalty I have ever seen and really surprised there were not more protests and what a chance for Harris to win the game in injury time, really should have scored. And just finally the Faversham goal. This is why supporters get so angry and frustrated at Kiernon. Just watch from 5.46 and see how quickly all of the Hastings players track back and then suddenly and all too late, Kiernon jogs back to pick up the no 7 who sent over the cross. This is not a one off, this happens time and again every game.
