After the recent events who were very disappointing to us all it is now a game against
Tooting is currently the number 2 in the table with 52 points out of 24 games. Scored 70 and conceded 34 goals.
Lost their last 2 League games and also lost Top scorer Billy Dunn who went to Greenwich . In their last away game in the League the also saw other Top scorer Taurean Roberts sent off.
Tooting plays at: Imperials Field
And we? Discussions all over off and maybe on the pitch and maybe even in the dressing room. What has/is happening.
There is only one answer and that is imo on the pitch. Tactics, game plan, attitude and so on.
I did quite like the look of our defensive line up today with Rowe and Davies in the middle and Butcher back at full back. I haven't seen too much of Butcher this season but has looked as decent at full back as anyone I have seen. Look forward to a full report.
Also check out the Tooting forum. From the few comments so far they were well impressed.
Very well done to Darren and the team! Not one of us doubts his team's ability to produce a superb performance when things go right; those who have doubts - and of course I include myself in that category - doubt their ability to consistently grind out positive results when things go wrong. I certainly hope that today is a springboard to do just that. I'm certainly very glad indeed that today will give confidence to Darren; but I hope it will not blind him to the need to look critically at what needs to be done to achieve consistency. And, please, that is not a begrudging or negative response... I want success for Darren as much as we all do.

Superb performance today, for me the best we have played all season. Tooting not a bad side, but we were in control from start to finish. Everybody put in a shift but thought Bods and Harry magnificent. Also a word for Pidge , did not have a lot to do , but when called upon did his bit. As Geoff says what we need is some consistence.
Excellent performance today well done Darren and the lads. Let's have more positivity on here now to inspire the team and supporters for the rest of season.
