Forget playoffs, we are closer to the relegation places than we are the team one place above us. Really p***ed off and another season becoming a total shambles. What the hell is going on ?
Hard to know what to say.....we can't even say this was against a top six side.....before tonight Molesey barely averaged a goal a game.
Can't believe Stannard is hardly being given a game...MOTM at Horsham by a mile.
I'll let others rant....but its hard not to be pretty appalled by that result.
Feel sorry for any fans who bothered to go tonight, can't see many bothering with Tooting on Saturday. And at home to Faversham next Tuesday could be lowest gate of the season! What has happened!
Absolutely dire.We haven't learnt a thing about defending a lead, game after game.Words fail me for once.Season definitely over now without a doubt.Like many,I thought we had the right manager to lead us forward, how wrong can we be?
John, cannot find any records of us conceding 4 goals 3 times in a row, at least not in last 20 years. However how about this for a sequence back in 2003/4 when we were in Dr.Martens Eastern Division.
Burgess Hill 2-6, Tonbridge Angels 1-5, Dartford 0-3, Stamford 0-1, Fisher Athletic 4-4, Salisbury 1-4.
Shan't get involved in the Pidgley discussion but had 6 keepers that season.
That was the season that sprang to my mind, Phil.
I think we had just been relegated and basically were rebuilding from scratch.
I can remember one having only one decent player but can't recall his name.
That run came towards the end of the season. In September we lost 6 in a row, Yeading 4-3, Chatham 2-1, Dartford 3-0, Bashley 5-0, Bracknell 3-1 and Burgess Hill 2-1, then picked up a couple of wins and then lost the next four, 6-2 Folkestone, Newport 2-0, Fleet 3-0 and Kings Lynn 4-2. Somehow we still avoided relegation despite conceding 91 goals.
Squad was as follows and quiz question - Am I right in saying 3 of them still play at a very decent level today, 13 years on?

James Body was one of the few who stepped up well from Kent League 2 to DM Premier in the 02-03 season when the not strengthening a promoted squad started to bite deep. Steve Hafner went onto better things and Mark Lovell still bangs em in for Herne Bay and Rooky did ok too.
I have just watched the Moseley highlights and would suggest that Pidge certainly didn't look fit.
He looked very immobile with the one that one looped over his head and should have done better with a couple more.
Another thing...for someone with his experience he's never been too good at judging which balls to come for...and I feel he shouldn't have even gone for the ball that he mispunched that resulted in their second equaliser.
Interesting highlights though.....think we should have won about 8-3.
